Ibuprofen Introduction

　　Ibuprofen is an antipyretic and analgesic, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug. This product reduces the synthesis of prostaglandins by inhibiting cyclooxygenase, and produces analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects; it acts as an antipyretic effect through the hypothalamic body temperature regulation center.

　　It is used to relieve mild to moderate pain such as headache, joint pain, migraine, toothache, muscle pain, neuralgia, and dysmenorrhea. Also used for fever caused by the common cold or influenza.
